ENDURO 200 Laps Pits open at Noon- Spectator Gate Opens at 3 P.M. - Race starts at 4 P.M. General

General Rules (2008 Updates) The first car to
complete 200 laps or the leader after (4) hours is the winner. The race will be started two or three cars abreast with a maximum of 150 cars. The race will be started from a stopped position. The yellow flag will not be used. If there are cars with breakdowns or cars in accidents, the other cars will avoid them while continuing to race. The green yellow may precede a red flag. The red flag will be displayed if there is a fire, rollover, or the track is blocked. All cars must stop immediately. (cars may leave under red in an orderly fashion with at least a one lap penalty) There will be no assistance from the pit crews who are not allowed on the track at any time. The race will be restarted with the cars in the same position as before the red flag after a 10-second countdown from the announcer and fans. If your car is black
flagged for any reason, you must exit the track immediately. Cars will be allowed to enter the pits for repairs or servicing. Reentry to the racing surface will be allowed as the pit official indicates. (Pitting under/during a red flag will result in at least one lap penalty). Two-Way Radios and Cell Phones are not permitted in cars, pits or grandstand to prevent drivers, passengers, pit crews and score keeper from communicating during the race. Each entry must have a scorer. A special area will be reserved for the scorers where they can follow the instructions of the head scorer. Pit stops must be achieved in an orderly and safe fashion. Cars must be worked on in the hot-pit area only. The flagman will indicate the middle of the race. The white flag will indicate the leader is on the final lap. All cars will be checked for safety rules only before the race . After the race, the top 10 cars will be inspected for rule violations. If any car is found to be illegal for any reason, the driver will be disqualified and not be paid.
If car has been driven in any other class besides an Enduro, it will not be allowed to run. 1. Any 1960 or newer
car is eligible. Rear or 2.4 Point Roll cage required. Gutting of factory interior panels only allowed for roll cage clearance. EXAMPLE: you may remove the inner door bracing if you are replacing it with door bars. Driver protection bars, at least 2 bars located left of the driver and connected to the roll bar behind the driver, is mandatory. At no time may it dissect, bisect, or pass through any firewall. All cars with passengers must have the same safety equipment for the passengers as for the driver. All cars with more than one passenger must have 5 point harnesses and aluminum seats mandatory . A four-Point roll bar is required, not to reinforce the body or frame, or alter the geometry of the race car, but only to serve to hold the car off the driver when over turned as a safety feature. All corners must be gusseted. 1 1/2 inch O.D. tubing or 1 5/8 inch black pipe minimum .095 wall thickness. 3. No-bracing in the bumper areas. However, bumpers must be chained or cabled as a safety item to help retain the bumper. Newer model vehicles with plastic/rubber bumpers may be re-enforced with a maximum 1-3/4 inch tubing, 20 linear feet maximum which includes all bracing and supports. However the original plastic/rubber bumper must remain on the vehicle. 4. All doors must be welded, chained, or bolted shut. 5. Windshield must be removed. Window bars must be in front of the driver and if a passenger is present they must have window bars as well. A minimum of four 3/8 inch steel (rebar) must be used for window bars. 6. Racing approved shoulder harness and lap belts are recommended. Racing seats allowed. 7. All burnable type material, floor mats, head liners, rear seats, etc. must be removed. The rear seat shelf must be left in as a fire stop, and any openings to the trunk area must be enclosed. 8. Complete bumper to bumper steel unibody must be retained. No lightening permitted. 9. The stock steel unaltered floor pan, firewalls, trunk and rear wheel wells must be retained. Front wheel wells may be removed. (Fuel cells, properly attached must be located in the trunk.) 10. Cars must retain their strictly stock appearance, no cutting chopping, channeling, or shortening allowed. Fenders may not be altered/cut. Hoods must be kept in place at all times. 11. Window nets are required and must be removable. Suspension, Tires, Wheels 1. Suspension parts must remain absolutely stock for that make and model car. No spacers, lumber or chains, etc. may be used to alter stock suspension of that car. 2. Stock wheels only. No Bart, Areo, Bassett, Real, or Circle Track Racing Wheels. 3. Dot legal tires only, maximum 60 series. No gumball tires, no snow treads, no studded tires. 4. After-market larger studs may be used. Engine 1. The engines must be strictly stock for that model and make and in its original mounts. (Example: If the vehicle did not come from the factory with a 350, then you may NOT replace it with a 350.) No aftermarket external oil coolers. 2. A/C and heat components may be removed. 3. Smog equipment may be removed. 4. No performance parts or products allowed. 5. Maximum 4 inch air cleaner. 6. No Headers. 7. Stock Intake Only, 2 bbl or 4 bbl Carburator, No Holley 4 bbl on GM. Transmission 2. No locked rears. No positive trac rear-ends. Miscellaneous 2. Batteries may be relocated but must be contained in a marine container or comparable container securely fastened. Only 1 – 12 volt battery may be used and must be securely mounted out of driver’s compartment. 3. All plastic grills must be removed. Headlights, tail lights and all chrome must be removed. 4. Any loss of wheel or tire requires your immediate leaving the race track. Continuing on a flat tire is not permitted. 5. Rupture of your gas tank and/or loss of gas require immediate black flag. 6. No locked rear-ends. Drive-Shaft needs to be painted white. 7. No Ballest/Weights 8. Safety Apparel: Approved helmet required. Neck Brace Required. Driving Suit Required. Driving Shoes and Gloves Recommended. 9. Any driver climbing out of a car during the green flag will be disqualified. NO Exception!
